Crystallizing

Cristallizing the Diamond

Crystalizing the Diamond wants to help yoga students, practitioners, teachers and trainers to deepen their practice and discipline and to have more results and benefits from the yoga technology in order to improve their development and performance.

Indeed only a small portion of people reaches consciousness of their physical body and posture. Even less they know how to breath, meditate and how to live according to social and individual discipline.

Each module focuses on a particular aspect of the tecnology and is established on the foundation given during the training.

We will learn how to move, breath, meditate and build a life attitude based on the yogic technology. In this path we are suggesting five of the eight Patanjali limbs. These are the business cards and boarding passes to reach the final destination: to manage the relation with ourselves, with others and with the universe.
“Life is to love and yoga is for life”

Foundations of this project are Yama and Niyama, then we will have experience of higher stages with the Asana’s, Pranayama’s and Pratyahar’s Yoga. Yama and Niyama are mandatory to get relations from a real and neutral position, in order to build prosperous and confident relationships. Your career, family, community, wealth, sexuality, relationships, health, space and time are consequences of connections. The harmony, conflict or stress level that we have in relation to them is a consequence of how we connect to them.

1. Yama

Putting the mind into condition of receiving the yoga experience. Undestanding how to maintain consciousness in social disciplines.

The word “Yama” means “to control”. But what should we control? Our everyday life in each aspect. We have the possibility to change the hidden sides of our mind and body when we bocome aware of our actions and relations with others. To syntesise: we can be in peace with the world.

Niyama

2. Niyama

The attitude we adopt out of respect for ourselves, a Soul’s code made up of rules and behaviors that we pursue to promote one's Self expression.

If we choose to act not following our Soul, we will not be able to get out from our suffering and our Self will not be able to evolve. To summary: to be in peace with yourselves.

3. Asana Yoga

Sacred geometries practiced with devotion.

A precise posture work that will develop your body awareness using yogic positions. The module will give you the tools to improve asanas’ practice and to achieve body awareness in order to be completly present in the experience.

Pranayama

4. Pranayama Yoga

Deep practice of conscious breathing and application of yogic breath control. The art to expand the primary unit, the life force.

The most important thing that we have in our existence is life breath. Its awareness gives us the chance to change ourselves, to develop adversities into prosperity and to understand that our life goal is connected with our breath.

5. Pratyahar Yoga

Deep focusing and meditation practice. The cause of everything is infinity.

The science of Pratyahar is a mental state of awareness through which we can understand that the true depth and source of all existence, what comes towards you or away from you, the cause of all causes is infinity. It is the deep and practical focus on meditation to discipline and harness the power of the mind.

Notes and history

Crystallizzing the Diamond" has been running since 2009. Its creator is Sadhana Singh. The project is born in order to deepen the basic themes of Kundalini Yoga both on a educational and experiential level. It has indeed shown an improvement in the students' ability to benefit from yogic technology and deepen the experience of the state of consciousness. The Crystallizing the Diamond program therefore aims to refine and improve our personal practice of technology, so that we can implement it with greater awareness and power. Hence the desire to repeat the process with the profound intention of continuing to serve with grace and love the teachings and the students who come to them.

On Patanjali
Patanjali has been defined as a genius, a sage, a scientist and has lived in India more than 1500 years ago. We don’t have many information on him except that he composed a series of aphorisms to explain yoga to his contemporaries. Patanjali describes eight paths, eight yoga stages: Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, e Samadhi. Through these stages one can achieve the control of her/his mind and get in touch with the Self. What Patanjali did was to report the process of yoga from the first step to the last in a practical, scientific, clear and linear way. Nobody had the courage to add anything to what he had explained.
